This is one I’ve been holding onto for a minute—and now it’s official.

I’ve been selected as one of the racers competing in the 2025 Direct Connection Grudge Match at Roadkill Nights, and I couldn’t be more fired up. This is hands down one of the biggest opportunities I’ve ever had as a driver, and it’s all going down with the full support of Dodge and Direct Connection.

Even crazier? We’ve got 9 weeks to build a race-ready car from the ground up using Dodge’s brand-new Hurricrate engine. Yep—Dodge’s new twin-turbo inline-six is finally hitting the streets, and we’re about to make it scream.

The Build: A Hurricrate-Powered Dodge Magnum

For this challenge, I knew I didn’t want to go the typical route. Everyone’s expecting Challengers, Chargers, maybe a Dart or a Ram. But me? I’m bringing something a little different to the party.

We’re building a 2005 Dodge Magnum.

Yeah, you read that right—a long-roof HEMI wagon turned boosted street assassin. The moment I found out I was in, I knew I wanted a platform that would turn heads and bring something unique to the lanes at Roadkill Nights. The Magnum has the muscle car bones, the street sleeper vibe, and the attitude to match.

And with the new Direct Connection Hurricrate engine under the hood, this thing’s going to be a certified monster.

Getting picked for the Grudge Match isn’t just an invite—it’s a chance to build something badass with Dodge’s full backing. We’re going up against some of the most talented builders and racers in the country, all bringing their A-game for one shot at glory on Woodward Ave.

I’ve been putting in the work for years—testing, racing, breaking, fixing, learning—and now it’s time to put all of that experience into this new build. This isn’t just another race. It’s a chance to show the world what passion, hustle, and a little creative chaos can do when you throw it all together in 9 short weeks.
