NITRO EXPERIENCE
(PC ONLY | Mobile support coming soon!)
This game is another prime example of why I probably shouldn't be running around unmedicated.
What started as a perfectly productive day came to a screeching halt when my brain decided that, instead of doing literally ANYTHING on my to-do list, I should vibe code an indie drag racing game.
Now, I've never designed a video game before. Hell, I've barely even vibe coded before. But somewhere between my third cup of coffee and a complete disregard for my responsibilities, I decided this was absolutely something I needed to pursue. The serotonin wasn't going to chase itself.
So, naturally, I did what any reasonable adult with a wife, a child, multiple businesses, and an alarming number of unfinished projects would do. I abandoned everything and started building a video game.
Several hours later, I emerged from my office looking like I'd just finished a 72-hour meth binge, except instead of stealing catalytic converters, I'd created a drag racing simulator.
Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is it probably riddled with bugs? You bet your ass. Do I have any idea what I'm doing? Not even remotely.
But here's the cool part. It actually works. 😂
What started as a completely ridiculous idea has turned into something I'm genuinely pretty proud of. There's something incredibly satisfying about having absolutely zero experience doing something, deciding you're going to figure it out anyway, and watching an idea slowly turn into something real.
I've spent years building racecars, breaking things, fixing things, and learning skills I had absolutely no business attempting in the first place. Apparently, developing video games is just the latest addition to that list.
So, I've uploaded Nitro Experience to my website for y'all to mess around with. It's completely free, it's still a work in progress, and I'm sure some of you degenerates will find ways to break it that I haven't even considered yet.
Give it a shot, tell me what you think, and PLEASE let me know when you find something that's broken.
And if you happen to enjoy it, let me know that too. I might actually keep developing this thing.
Anyway, I have accomplished precisely zero of the things I was supposed to do today, but I made a video game, so I'm gonna chalk this one up as a win.
